being put down by friendship
I've been friends with this lady for 20 years. She's a lot older than me and is always putting me down saying I work too much, buy too much for my mother and my children. It's tearing me apart. i want her approval and to be proud of me but it seems I can be her put down thing until she needs me or my husband. The thing is I'm too scared of what will happen if we're not friends. Please help.
