I absolutely can relate to both of you!!! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!!!

OMGosh!!! I cannot that both of you enough for everything you said. I am now 73 years old and even though I am much, much better than I was years ago, I still struggle many times to talk.

It looks like this website hasn’t been updated since 2024 so I won’t say too much because I don’t think anyone is reading this.

Just in case one of y’all are reading this, I have been recording me talking when I go to doctors’ appointments, phone calls when I am at home, sales peoples pitches, whenever I can record my coversations. I hate how I talk. I don’t seem to talk in smooth sentances. I kind of chop up my words and thoughts. So many times I can’t think of the word I’m trying to say but can’t remember what the correct word is. Then I get scared to say anything. Sometimes I start a conversation but in the middle of a sentace I’ll forget my train of thought. I know this happens to a lot of people but I also know I would like help with it so that it doesn’t happen so often.

I also get afraid of starting new friendships or new groups or bible studies, or clubs because I think once they get to know me they won’t like, respect me and will think I am stupid or not enjoyable to be around or something negative about me. So I really isolate a lot.

Well, since noone is reading this I’ll just say I really wish I could work with a communication coach!!! I really wish I could work with an ADD Therapist or ADD Coach also.

THanks for listening, anyone!!
