The value of making mistakes

"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing" - George Bernard Shaw.

I like this apparently simple quote for two reasons. Firstly the encouragement to actually DO things rather than fall victim to apathy and lack of direction. Secondly, it removes the fear of failure and reminds us that we do not need "success" or to gain the approval of others.
