Success With Your Goals
January 02, 2007
Happy New Year

I hope you had fun welcoming 2007 yesterday.

If you've been making New Year’s resolutions, check out How to Have Success With Goal Planning because making goals is easy, achieving success with goal planning is not always so easy. Well, it's not if you don't ask yourself the 8 specific questions which you'll discover as you read this article. It could mean the difference between actually achieving your goal or becoming one of the statistics of people who quit within weeks of starting. By asking yourself 8 simple questions you’ll know whether you’re going to be able to accomplish your goals or not.

So, after all that goal planning, do you need a break?
How about a quick little Guided Meditation from Power Keys Publishing? Look for the link near the bottom of the page which says you can try out a sample of the meditation. Ahh, a little soothing music, a calming voice, some deep breaths. Definitely much better.

If you're interested in purchasing a meditation CD, I've been trying Centrepointe's Holosync Meditation CD for about 4 months now. I really like them. In fact, I like them so much that I bought them for my Dad for Christmas. One reason I like them is because I don't have to "focus" or "clear my mind" like you do with regular meditation. I can think whatever I want while I listen to the sounds of rain and my brain is put into the alpha and delta rythms of meditation. Some interesting changes have been happening which I'll describe in a more detailed review in an upcoming newsletter.

Benefit of Vitamin D
Did you know that vitamin D is actually a hormone? It’s something I found out when I was doing some research on the benefit of Vitamin D in relation to SAD. What I found out was surprising. Even patients in sunny California were deficient in their Vitamin D levels. From what I read, they’re discovering that Vitamin D could be critical in relieving certain SAD symptoms like feeling tired and depressed. I also discovered that current research is revealing that Vitamin D is important in preventing cancers and helping people who suffer from IBS. For all the details, see "The Benefit of Vitamin D".

I'd also like to take this opportunity to say Thank You for subscribing to my newsletter. It is very much appreciated and I'm very honored that you allow me to be a part of your journey to increase your confidence.

Best wishes to you and your family for 2007. May 2007 be your best year ever. It will be an exciting year as the more you learn about yourself, the more confidence you gain and the more the world opens up to you. Life just gets better and better. Definite reason to to look forward to the new year and to celebrate the new you. And as Oprah says about the start of a new year, "it's another chance for us to get it right."
